We do have a few changes that I would like you to be aware of this year:
1) We will be meeting in a different room! Our new home will be the Great Hall, which is the large room where our children used to meet. So, park behind the building on the south side, enter through the covered doors, turn left and we will be right there.
2) As you have guessed, this means our MOPPETS are changing rooms too! The babies and one year olds will be upstairs as usual – babies in room 208 and one year olds in the nursery. The 2-5 year olds will be downstairs in Bethany’s Sunday School rooms. If you take the big stairs or the elevator down, the rooms are right around the corner. These rooms are beautifully painted and should be a warm, welcoming space for our kiddos.
If you have not already done so, will you please send an email to Katie Marzec (email@example.com) with the name and birthday of any child you plan on sending to our MOPPETS program? This will help us be so much more efficient on our first day.Thank you! Please feel free to include any allergies or concerns that you have.
Lastly, if any of you have toys that you are ready to clear out of your home we would love to refresh our MOPPETS toy collection a bit. We are looking for toys that spur creative play, do not need batteries, and do not have lots of small parts. Toys should be appropriate for ages 2-5. Please bring any donations to our first MOPS meeting, thank you!
Join us on September 3rd for our first MOPS meeting of the year. Childcare check in starts at 8:45 AM and the meeting lasts from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We hope to see you there as we kick off another fun filled year.
Year-End All MOPS Play Date – May 21st at DeKoevend Park at 6301 S University Blvd Littleton CO 80121 from 10 am to 1 pm. We have reserved the Playground Shelter at DeKoevend Park (off of University between Orchard and Arapahoe) and will be there late morning through lunchtime. Please bring a dish to share and food your kids enjoy. There is a covered area, but it is not huge so I would recommend bringing a blanket/chair.
Our annual MOPS Spring fundraiser is coming up! This year, hanging baskets, potted plants and tomato plants are available for purchase. Each person is required to buy or sale at least TWO items. We need volunteers to make this fundraiser successful! Please sign up to help if you can.
PLANT SALE DATES TO REMEMBER:
Pre-Sale for Bethany congregation – Sunday, April 27th
Plant pick up for MOPS members and plant set up – Saturday, May 10th
Bethany member pick-up – Sunday, May 11.
Spring is blooming all around, which means it’s time to celebrate another great year of MOPS! Please be our guest at our annual spring tea and enjoy a catered brunch in your spring finest. We are honored to have Alexandra Kuykendall, author of “The Artist’s Daughter” as our speaker, (www.alexandrakuykendall.com). We encourage you to read this beautiful book before the tea as it will be a focus of her discussion, (if you have not yet received a copy please email: firstname.lastname@example.org). We love to celebrate with our Bethany alumnae and any special women in your life you’d like to invite. Please inform us of your total number of adults & any children not normally enrolled in MOPPETS as soon as possible. A $7 donation per (guest) child is very appreciated. Questions?
